Japan needs skilled creative partners.

Japan is facing a shortage of skilled animation talent, while studios operate on demanding schedules and long production pipelines. This creates a strong opportunity for internationally prepared artists.

India’s contribution to Manga and Anime production is still at an early stage. Indian creators can help shape the next phase through original stories, refined craft and global production readiness.

Why India Can Become a Manga & Anime Hub

India Has Stories the World Has Not Seen Yet.

Rich Storytelling Traditions

India's mythology, folklore, regional narratives and cultural diversity offer an extraordinary foundation for original Manga, Anime and visual storytelling.

A Growing Anime Community

India has a large, young and highly engaged audience for Anime, Manga, gaming and Japanese visual culture. This audience is ready not only to consume content, but to create it.

Strong Film and Content Ecosystem

India's leadership in cinema, VFX, animation, gaming and digital content provides a strong base for building new Manga and Anime IP.

Industry and Government Momentum

India's growing focus on AVGC-XR, creative technology, original IP and the creator economy supports the growth of future creative talent.

“India can take its stories to the world through Manga and Anime with cultural authenticity, artistic flair and global production standards.”
