National Centre of Excellence (NCoE) for AVGC–XR
Approved by the Union Cabinet on 19 September 2024, this benchmark institution will be India’s heart for developing world-class training standards, industry-aligned curricula, and global certifications across Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and XR.
Global Incentives for Animation & VFX
New policies offer 30–40% incentives (up to ₹30 Crores) for Animation and VFX Global Services and Co-productions. It was Announced on 15 June 2024. It made India a top spot for international post-production and co-production projects.
100% FDI in Media & Entertainment
100% FDI in Media & Entertainment Global studios, investors, and production houses are collaborating directly with India’s talent and institutions with full foreign investment now open which powers international partnerships like never before.
India’s advantage lies in its high-quality, economical production system and a digitally native audience that spends over 78% of its media time on mobile applications. These factors have made India the world’s fastest-growing digital entertainment market.

- Based on the FICCI–EY 2024 Report, the Indian M&E sector is projected to grow at a CAGR of 10–12%, reaching ₹3.08 trillion by 2026. The Gaming, VFX, Animation, and Digital Media’s growth project India’s blend of creativity, technology, and storytelling excellence.
